Devils Lake and Chimney Rock Park Climbing

At Vertical Illusions, our rock climbing guides are certified through PCGI, and will help expand your horizons and accommodate for your experience levels.  With climbs from 20 to 100+ feet, we have the guidance needed for beginners, or the ability of pushing even experienced climbers.

Most of our climbing is done at  Chimney Rock’s Private Park, and Devils Lake State Park.   With 1 hour, 3 hour, and full day trips, it’s a great stand along activity on its own, or to add onto your zip lining, kayaking or paddle boarding experience.  Please call 608-253-2500  Between 9am and 9pm to reserve your Adventure.

 Vertical Illusions has the exclusive rights to climb at Chimney Rock Park, so there is never a wait to get on the route you want! Your guides will match you to the best climbs to push your skill levels or just allow you to enjoy the thrill of accomplishment!  This is great for first timers as well as gym climbers looking to get out on real cliffs!

Now that you have booked your tour you will want to dress for the weather and wear comfortable clothes and hiking shoes. You may also want to bring a camera.

Frequently Asked Questions

When you book your tour we do require a 20% deposit and offer a free cancellation up to 48 hours of your reservation.  The full payment is due at the beginning of your adventure. If your trip is cancelled due to weather (on our part) we can reschedule or give you a refund for your deposit.  If you do not show or after 25 minutes of your tour time the 20% deposit will be kept.

As Vertical Illusions Guides we make it our personal responsibility to offer a world class experience for you and your group. If you are 100% satisfied and love your adventure we appreciate Gratuities of 10 to 20% if we have earned it. We look forward to taking an adventure with you!
